This series began with one painting of a lady.  I saw a photo of a lady standing near a window, with light from the blinds making a striped effect on her skin.  I decided it would make for a great effect to do a much more contrasted version of this, as light from the blinds wrapped around a lady in various poses.  It ended up expanding to involve some use of color in a second set of paintings, all found here...
